Throttle device with air flow compensation function

The device has a body (11) with intake channel (100) containing a turnable throttle flap (20) to adjust the flow rate of the intake air within the channel. An upstream half section (20a) of the throttle flap is turned to the upstream side of an intake air flow when the channel is opened. A downstream half section (20b) is turned to the downstream side of that flow, when the channel is opened. An upstream-sided air flow surface between upstream flap section and throttle body is smaller than a downstream air flow surface between throttle body and downstream flap surface. A compensation unit (22) on throttle body or flap makes the upstream flow surface smaller than the downstream one.
