PURPOSE: To provide a sound welded part where the welding efficiency is high, and the weld metal and heat affected zone are prevented from being oxidized and nitrided in achieving the resistance welding of a frame of a titanium bicycle. CONSTITUTION: In connecting method of a frame for a titanium bicycle consisting of a main tube 1 orthogonal or diagonal to a head tube, a center core electrode 4 is inserted in the head tube 2, the center core electrode 4 is fixed in a lowering manner by an upper electrode 5, and a lower electrode 3 which is abutted on the circumferential side of the head tube 2 and provided with a weld metal receiving groove of the joined part is fixed to the main tube 1 to achieve the resistance welding. The inner side of the lower electrode 3 is cooled with water, and provided with an inert gas ejecting nozzle in the vicinity of the weld metal receiving groove. |
