Producing stabilised acid resin-containing media, useful for building purposes, involves subjecting the media to neutralisation, polymerisation and final densifying consolidation with adsorptive noxious material deposition and absorptive noxious material incorporation as a dense structure with a homogeneous matrix by long term active internal swelling pressure in the strained matrix. Preferably, the neutralisation medium comprises a flyash-cement compound which contains 0-40% Portland cement and which has a pH of more than 12 in aqueous solution.
