Pointing device using the image of the hand

The system uses a large screen display (12), eg LCD , cathode ray tube, on which a range of different information fields may be presented. The display is connected to an information processor in the form of a personal computer. Input and control of the information display is provided by an individual (10) who actives input by hand pointing operation with finger clicking for activation. The action is detected by infrared cameras (36A,B) and illuminators (32A,B).
