摘要	Appts. for sterilising fluids has a UV unit (1) including UV lamps (2), a UV intensity controller (7), a UV intensity measuring probe (3) and a mechanical lamp cleaner and is such that: (a) a first disinfectant inlet (9,11,19) has a disinfectant feed (19) opening into the fluid inlet (12); (b) a second treating material inlet (10,11,20) has a feed (20) opening into the fluid outlet (13); (c) a CO2 inlet (21-26) has a feed (22) opening into a mixing reactor (23) positioned at the fluid inlet (12) between the feed (19) and the UV unit (1); and (d) there is a sensor (27,27a) to monitor the condition of the fluid at the inlet (12) and outlet (13).
