<p>The setting buttons are in a rectangular pattern in the housing, and control a handle-operated bolt. Four bearing bushes (1g, 1i) on the housing bottom (1e) each accommodate a basic gear with n teeth and containing a radial groove at the periphery for a pin on the stop, which is mounted between the gears. Locking washers mounted on the gears have square holes by which they fit on square button spindles, there being the same number of figures on the buttons as the gear teeth. The axial bore in each gear contains a pin with tapering ends engaging in taper bores (6a - d) in a changeover plate (6) and in others in the locking washer, and which are the same in number as the gear teeth.</p> |
