PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method of a sound absorption material and the sound absorption material having high sound absorption property and high strength. SOLUTION: This method for producing the sound absorption material comprises foaming and hardening a foamable inorganic composition consisting of Al2 O3 -SiO2 based inorganic powder, an alkali metal silicate, a foaming agent, water and a polysilloxane-polyoxyalkylene copolymer on one surface of a continuous pore type foamed body (A) composed of a curable inorganic composition and after that, laminating a continuous pore type foamed body (B) treated with a high pressure water of 30-150kg/cm<2> nozzle pressure and having 2-40mm thickness thereon. |
