PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bleach composition which can attain efficient bleaching effect though it contains only a small amount of a bleaching activator. SOLUTION: This composition comprises 0.1-10wt.% hydrogen peroxide, 5.0-50wt.% nonionic surfactant and 0.01 to below 0.5wt.% bleaching activator represented by the formula (wherein R<1> is a 5-9C (branched)alkyl; and M is H, an alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal). The nonionic surfactant should have a maximum n-heptane solubilization capacity of at least 0.1g/l when measured in a 1wt.% aqueous solution at 25 deg.C, and the amount of the bleaching activator added should be at most 1/2 of the n-heptane solubilization capacity of the nonionic surfactant. |
