PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film which can prevent an insect, the larva of an insect or the like from invading into the inside of a package of a cap container or the like, and to provide a food packaging method using the film and a food packaging material. SOLUTION: Deaeration throughholes having a hole diameter of 1 to 200μm are formed at a density of not less than 500 holes/cm<2> over the whole surface of a film 1 constituted by a heat-shrinkable film having a single-layer or multi- layer structure of polypropylene, low-density polyethylene, ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer or the like. A rolled film 1 is successively brought to a cylinder, and both ends are heat-sealed. A plurality of containers 13 containing herein foods, such as dried needles, are carried into the cylindrical film 1 at predetermined intervals. The front and back ends of the film 1 covering the containers 13 are cut into a suitable size with a heat seal cutter 17 and heat-sealed. Thereafter, the whole film 1 is heat-shrinked to package the containers 13. |
