<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply pre-tention to a core so as to improve handrail supporting strength regardless of the length of a support by arranging the core, extended in the lengthwise direction of the support, inside the support, and providing an erection member for pulling the core in the lengthwise direction of the support, between the core and the support. SOLUTION: A core 2 fixedly erected on a base member 5 is connected to an inferior limb height wall 8, while a support 1 is fixedly erected on a coping 11 through a piece member 13. An erection member 18 is placed on the upper end of the core 2, and two machine screws 19, 20 are inserted through a first horizontal part 18A downward from the upper part and respectively screwed into a machine screw pocket 1A of the support 1 and a machine screw pocket 2A of the core 2 so as to erect and fix the erection member 18 to the support 1 and core 2. When the machine screw 20 is screwed more firmly, the core 2 is pulled upward by pull-up action from the machine screw 20, so that the upper end of the core 2 is protruded from the upper end of the support 1, and pre-tension corresponding to a protruding part is applied to the core 2. The core 2 can therefore be set to length corresponding to the support 1 regardless of the length of the support 1 so as to enhance supporting strength of a handrail 23.</p> |
