DEVICE FOR CUTTING PIPES IN BORE-HOLE

FIELD: bore-hole drilling machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: device may be used for cutting pipes deep in wells filled with liquid. Device for cutting pipes has cylindrical body which accommodates combustion chamber with gas-generating compound. Also provided is nozzle with its flow route which is uniformly located over circumference of body cylinder. Body of device is made in the form of two half-bodies. One of half-bodies has central protrusion in the form of axle shaft. Seated on central protrusion is other half-body with possibility of displacement along axis and of fixing. Gas line which connects combustion chamber with nozzle is made in first half-body. Nozzle is created by clearance between end faces of half-bodies and spacer member. Nozzle is of slot-type. Nozzle stopper of pipe cutting device is made up of flexible rings which are placed on slot in layers one upon other and are secured by their external edges with two flexible rings in each layer. Contacting edges of flexible rings in each layer and slot of nozzle are located in different planes. Positioned in slot-type nozzle are flow-swirling members in the form of blades which are tangentially installed. Aforesaid embodiment of pipe cutting device upgrades performance characteristics and ensures reliable and effective functioning. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg
