PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer apparatus which can prevent wasteful consumption of resources at a draft printing mode. SOLUTION: It is detected whether or not a draft printing mode is included in printing data (S2). When the draft printing mode is detected, functions other than a printing function based on printing data, e.g. a file function to a recording medium, a slice function to the recording medium, a fold function to the recording medium, etc., are not carried out and data related to these functions are printed to the recording medium, and draft printing is executed (S7, S8). In the constitution, since functions other than the printing based on printing data are never executed to the recording medium in the case of the draft printing mode, wasteful consumption of resources can be prevented. |
