PROCESS AND A DEVICE FOR REDUCING DUST DEPOSITS ON THE DRYING HOOD OF A PAPER MACHINE

The invention relates to a process for reducing dust deposits on the drying hood of a paper machine. It is primarily characterised by additional fresh air being blown over the upper side of the paper machine drying hood. The invention also relates to a device for reducing dust deposits on the drying hood of a paper machine, characterised by at least one slit for blowing out air being provided on the top side of the paper machine drying hood.
