<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lowering of strength or oil leakage by preventing corrosion even when a thin aluminum plate is employed for an element of an oil cooler. SOLUTION: An element 12 comprising unit members of first and second thin aluminum plates 12a, 12b sandwiching a fin plate 12c stacked in multistage is contained on the inside of a thick case aluminum cover 11 having a cooling water take-in port 11b on one side and oil inlet 11c and outlet 11d on the opposite sides of upper wall. The elements 11 are coupled to the upper wall of the cover 11 and a window 11e of specified area is made in the center of the upper wall. A sacrifice anode body 20 of magnesium alloy, or the like, is fixed replaceably to the part of the window 11e and applied with an aluminum cover 19 and the a partitioner 13 is fixed to the underside of the cover 11 thus obtaining an oil cooler Oe. The oil cooler Oe is secured to a cast iron engine block Eb at a plurality of positions of the lower flange part thereof.</p> |
