PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nonwoven fabric for an FRP for an artificial marble without casing dropout of a decorating agent and excellent in dimension stability by using the decorating agent comprising an inorganic fiber having a specific fiber size and an inorganic filler, and a binder of a soap-free thermosetting resin with an added coupling agent. SOLUTION: This nonwoven fabric for a FRP for an artificial marble, for example made of a glass fiber, is obtained by mixing an inorganic fiber having <=6μm fiber diameter such as the glass fiber, and an inorganic filler such as a mica powder as a decorating agent with an aqueous solution including a dispersing agent such as polyethylene oxide added there to uniformly disperse, adding a thermosetting resin-based binder such as a soap-free acrylic resin containing a silane coupling agent thereto and thereafter carrying out papermaking of the dispersion containing the added binder.
