<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a coordinate input device without contact through the use of an insulating object except for a finger and to sensitively and precisely decide the position of a cursor on a display without giving unpleasant feeling to an operator while power consumption is reduced. SOLUTION: An oscillation coil 2 which is pattern-formed on a substrate 1, four resonance coils 3A-3D which are pattern-formed on the substrate 1 at equal intervals in a peripheral direction and resonance capacitors are provided. A shielding member 6 constituted of a metal material is slid in all directions within the forming area of the resonance coils 3A-3D through an operation member 8. Following voltage changes are operated and moving data is obtained. Then, obtained moving data is converted into a coordinate signal.</p> |
