PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a slime controller applicable to spots such as a kitchen sink or an outlet of a bathroom at which slime occurs by metabolites of various germs, molds, etc., having no problem of chlorine smell and corrosion, excellent in safety and handleability, retaining proper solubility. SOLUTION: This organic iodine-based slime controller is obtained by molding under pressure an organic iodine-based antimicrobial agent such as 2,2,3- triiodoallyl alcohol and a solid acid such as fumaric acid, benzoic acid, adipic acid, sulfamic acid, boric acid, dl-malic acid, citric acid, ascorbic acid, malonic acid or glycolic acid. |
