PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of conductivity of a transparent electrode due to a high temperature process. SOLUTION: In a plasma display panel comprising a transparent electrode and a dielectric layer covering the electrode on at least either one of a pair of substrates set on the opposite to each other having a discharge space between them, the main component of the transparent electrode 11 is added to the dielectric layer 14. Practically, in the case that the transparent electrode 11 is ITO electrode containing indium oxide as a main component, indium oxide is added to the dielectric electrode 14. Because of the addition of the main component of the transparent electrode 11 to the dielectric layer 14, the conductivity of the transparent electrode 11 is not deteriorated even by a high temperature process carried out afterwards. |
