PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of providing an electrophotographic device having high efficiency, high reliability and high image quality by smoothly supplying toner from a toner hopper. SOLUTION: The toner hopper 43 has two-layer structure, an inner layer consists of a toner container 50 made of deformable materials and housing the toner and an outer layer consists of a cover member 51 for covering the toner container 50. A partition plate 52 which can be taken out is provided between the toner container 50 and the cover member 51. At the time of attaching the developing device to a device main body, the partition plate 52 is pulled out to evade the flocculation of the toner caused by vibration at the time of transportation. The impossibility of the supply of the toner, caused by the increase of rotational torque or the impossibility of rotation, in a second agitator 47 or a supplying roller 46 or the hollow periphery of the roller 46. Thus, the toner can be surely supplied to a developing chamber 44 and the high efficiency, high reliability and high image quality can be attained. |
