PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data base preparing device and method by which only an object with high probability that it appears with ambiguity or homonym from among the huge number of objects to be stored in an explanation information DB(data base) is stored in the explanation DB. SOLUTION: Probability that a name to be stored in an explanation information DB received from an inputting part 1 is retrieved accompanied with homonym is calculated by a probability calculating part 2, and the high order M pieces of names with high calculated probability that they appear with homonym are extracted from among the inputted names by a probability high order data extracting part 3. Then, explanation information from which the homonym for the extracted name is excluded is prepared by an explanation preparing part 4, and the name and the explanation information are stored in an explanation information DB 6. |
