摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cogging torque and avoid the decline of motor torque characteristics by a method wherein auxiliary slots are formed in salient poles to increase the total number of slots of an armature core imaginerily and an ideal skew angle is obtained by a specific formula. SOLUTION: Auxiliary slots are formed in salient poles to increase the total number of slots of an armature core imaginerily. When the outer diameter of the armature core is denoted by (r) [mm], the thickness of the armature core is denoted by T [mm], the number of slots is denoted by (q), the number of poles of a field part is denoted by (p) and the total number of the auxiliary slots 19 is denoted by M, the width of the slot and the width of the auxiliary slots 19 are both set at a width (t) expressed by a formula I. Further, the angle to a border between the poles of the field part, i.e., an ideal skew angle, is set at a value approximately equivalent to an angleθ[deg.] expressed by a formula II. With this constitution, the flux values of the poles can be increased while a cogging torque is reduced and the decline of motor torque characteristics can be also avoided.
