HOLDING STRUCTURE FOR PIANO BOTTOM PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding structure for a piano bottom plate which can reduce the cost of a front base. SOLUTION: The bottom plate 8 is a member which covers the bottom of a piano case and supports a pedal P in a free swingable state. The rear side of this bottom plate 8 is fitted to the base 2b of a column framework 2 with screws and the front side is supported by the shelf 6 of the piano with a wire 11 extended between a ring 9 fixed onto the bottom plate 8 and a hook 10 screwed in the shelf 6. This bottom plate 8 holds a lower front plate 12 directly. This structure eliminates the need for a front base which was used conventionally as a member for supporting the front side of the bottom plate 8, and then the cost is reduced correspondingly.
