PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a void and a white streak in an image caused by the flocculation of a developer in a developing part and the deficient supply of the developer and to stably supply the developer. SOLUTION: The device is constituted to provide the developing part 3 housing a developer carrier 2 carrying the developer T, a developer storage part 5 in which the developer T is stored, an elastic member 4a is provided on the rotary free end of a rotatably supported plate-like main body and a developer supplying member 4 for supplying the developer T to the side of the developing part 3 is housed and a partition 7 which is for partitioning the developing part 3 and the developer storage part 5 and provided with a connecting opening 6 for connecting both parts 3 and 5, inside a housing 1. In such a case, a scraping guide member 8 is provided and the opening bottom surface height 6H of the connecting opening 6 is greater than the rotary shaft height 4H of the developer supplying member 4. Further, this guide member 8 has an inclined part 8a which is arranged in the upper part of the connecting opening 6, projected in the locus of the rotation of the elastic member 4a and provided with a bottom surface formed to be higher toward the connecting opening 6 from the end of the projection in the locus. |
