PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a user limiting device in which a user limit function is in use independently of a manufacturer or a model of a facsimile equipment or the like being a terminal equipment and the security is improved. SOLUTION: A power supply input section 2 is connected to, e.g. a commercial power supply to receive a power supply. A power supply connection section 4 is connected to, e.g. a power plug of a terminal equipment to supply power from the power supply input section 2 to the terminal equipment via an interlocking switch 5. The interlocking switch 5 is connected to a power supply line between the power supply input section 2 and the power supply connection section 4, is closed interlockingly when an identification member 1a including a key or a card is inserted to an identification member insert port 1b being a key hole or a card insert port and is open when the identification member 1a is inserted to the identification member insert port 1b so as to connect/ disconnect power from the power supply input section 2 to the power supply connection section 4. |
