The skate board has a rectangular horizontal plate (1) with rolling wheels and one motor wheel (4). This is in contact with the ground and mounted on an axle (6). The user stands on an upper horizontal plate (13). An axle (8), parallel to the axle of the motor wheel, is fixed to the plate and a toothed pinion (10) is mounted on it. This has a larger diameter than a pinion (4A) that is coaxial to the wheel and they are joined together by a chain (11). A radial arm (12) is fixed to the first axle and to the upper plate.
