PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle advancing direction analyzing device for an opening/closing system used for a parking lot of a one vehicle road two direction type, which distinguishes whether the detection of another vehicle when a vehicle of a short full length passes through a gate from a freely passable side is the coming of a following vehicle or moving back for giving a vehicle road to a vehicle coming from an opposite side through the use of three detecting sensors. SOLUTION: The vehicle road T of the parking lot is provided with three vehicle detection sensors S1, S2 and S3 and is provided with a vehicle coexistence detecting means 4 judging the existence of two vehicles on the road T at the time of judging the full length of a vehicle to be shorter than an interval between the second and third detecting sensors S2 and S3 and an advancing direction judging means 5 capable of judging the finish of the entering/leaving of the vehicle and judging the moving back of the vehicle for giving way based on the detection of the vehicle by the sensors S1 to S3. |
