PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device permitting a low cost and a low power consumption. SOLUTION: This display device is provided with a host processor 101 to generate a plotting command, a plotting processor 102 to generate display data in response to the plotting command, a frame memory 107, a memory control means 106 to control writing/reading the display data in/from the frame memory 107, and a driver circuit 8 to drive a display panel by the display data read from the frame memory 107, and generates a display change display data corresponding to a fixed picture element by means of the plotting processor 102 in response to the plotting command outputted from the host processor 101 when the change in the display data of the fixed picture element is specified, and directly writes the display change data in a fixed address corresponding to the fixed picture element of the frame memory 107. |
