A metal reflector for use on a cylindrical striplight (20) has a reflector (32) of substantially parabolic shape (31) which clips to one end (22) of the striplight, the edge of the reflector tapering to a point (33) towards the centre of the striplight, the shape of the tape being selected so that direct and reflected light cooperate to compensate for brightness roll-off at the end (22) of the striplight.
