PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the anaerobic digestion treatment of livestock excretion capable performing the integrated treatment of excretion and the sufficient short-time digestion treatment thereof. SOLUTION: Livestock excretion 1 is subjected to modification treatment 3 at high temp. as it is without being subjected to solid-liquid separation treatment to be biologically solubilized 7 or subjected to modification treatment 3 at high temp. and subsequently pressed to separate impurities while the generated resultant liquid is biologically solubilized 7. Or, the excretion is pressed as it is to separate impurities and the generated resultant liquid is subjected to modification treatment at high temp. to be biologically solubilized or the excretion is pressed while modified at high temp. to separate impurities and the generated resultant liquid is biologically solubilized to be subsequently subjected to methane fermentation 9 in medium temp. water. By this constitution, as a heating source at a time of high temp. modification treatment of livestock excretion, biological gas 10 generated by fermentation treatment can be used.
