PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot for nursing capable of making a person to be nursed and a nurse be able to exchange information. SOLUTION: This robot 10 for nursing obtains the appearance of the nurse as video information and obtains voice as voice information and the person-to- be-nursed information is transmitted to an external device 12 through an ISDN transmission/reception part 86. Also, nurse input information supplied from the external device 12 is received through the ISDN transmission/reception part 86 and transmitted to the person to be nursed through a monitoring screen 30 and a speaker 32. In such a manner, the person to be nursed and the nurse exchange the information through the robot 10 for nursing.
