SOLUTION: In this developing device 10 provided with an electrifying device 15 for electrifying the toner layer of the toner carrier 12 by voltage applied on an electrifying electrode 15a and the controlling electrode 15b, on the toner carrier 12, -20V of the AC voltage is allied, on the controlling electrode 15b, the voltage superposed with DC component of -500V and AC component of 400V amplitude are applied, and on the electrifying electrode 15a, the voltage superposed with the DC component of -2000V and the AC component of 400V amplitude are applied. |
