PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make distinct the responsibility demarcation point of an electronic transaction using a customer money card and a bank money card and to guarantee monetary value which is not physically present. SOLUTION: Customer information is read out of the customer money card 1 and information of the customer money card 1 is updated with inputted transaction information and stored on an escrow card 3. Then the read information from the customer money card 1 which is stored on the escrow card 3 and the transaction information are shown (reported) to the customer, who confirms them (input signal). Then the transaction information stored on the escrow card 3 is read out and sent to the bank money card 2. The bank money card 2 having received the transaction information updates electronic money balance information.
