PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the sticking of carriers on an image carrier even in the case of using the carriers provided small in grain size and low in magnetic force when performing the development by transporting the developer containing toner and the carriers by means of the developer carrier provided with a magnetic member having plural magnetic poles inside. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with the image carrier 1 on which a latent image is formed, and a developing device, 10 provided with the magnetic member 12 having plural magnetic poles inside of the developer carrier 11 transporting the developer containing the toner and the carriers to an developing area opposing the image carrier. In the device the image carrier and the developer carrier are severally moved in the same direction in a developing area, and a counter magnetic pole S in reverse polarity with respect to the developing magnetic pole N1 in the magnetic member opposite to the image carrier 1 is provided inside the image carrier 1 on the upstream side of this developing magnetic pole in the moving direction of the image carrier 1. |
