PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cylindrical ultrasonic motor in which the directivity of a vibration can be made satisfactory, in which irregularities in the rotation of a rotor is not generated and in which a support loss can be reduced. SOLUTION: A cylindrical ultrasonic motor is provided with a shaft 14, with an electromechanical energy transducer which is arranged in a prescribed place at the shaft 14, so as to generate vibrations, with stators 15, 16 which are arranged and installed so as to come into contact with the electromechanical energy transducer and which amplify and transmit the vibration generated by the electromechanical energy transducer, with rotors 17, 18 which are arranged and installed so as to come into contact with the stators 15, 16 and which receive the vibration transmitted by the stators 15, 16, so as to be turned and with a pressure means which is attached to the shaft 14 and which presses the stators 15, 16 to the electromechanical energy transducer. Since it is not required to screw the stators 15, 16 to the shaft 14, a fulcrum support distance can be shortened by that screwing portion. |
