PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable stereoscopic pictures to be observed satisfactorily with high picture quality without seeing duplicate pictures in wide areas while mitigating assembly accuracies of principal parts in among respective elements constituting the whole of a device by specifying widths of the vertical direction and widths of the horizontal direction of opening parts and light shielding parts of a master pattern. SOLUTION: Luminuous fluxes from plural opening parts 6 of a master pattern 7 in which opening parts 6 and light shielding parts are arranged in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction with precribed plural pitches are passed through an optical system to light a display 1 on which at least two parallactic pictures are displayed. Picture information displayed on the display 1 are stereoscopically observed by respectively guiding luminous fluxes based on the two parallactic pictures displayed on the display 1 to the right eye ER and the left eye EL of an observer. Here, when widths of the opening parts 6 and the light shielding part 7 of the vertical direction are respectively defined as Vt, Vs, they are set so as become Vt<Vs. Moreover, when widths of the opening parts 6 and the light shielding part 7 of the horizontal direction are respectively defined as Vt, Vs, they are set so as to be Vt<Vs. |
