Ethylene (co)polymers such as LLDPE, HDPE and EVA, not containing stabilizer agents, can be functionalized in bulk and continuously, with maleic anhydride, in an extruder, without that any substantial alterations of polymer could be evidenced. The multilayer films obtained by using such functionalized (co)polymers as binding agents for mutually incompatible polymers such as polyethylene-polyamide (PE-PA), retain good characteristics of transparency and evenness (low number of fish eye defects), with which extremely good compatibilizing and adhesion properties are associated. <IMAGE> |
