The effluent from the building concerned is first routed to a settlement tank (T). Water from this tank is routed, via distributor tanks (E1,E2), to evaporating ditches. These ditches are provided with beds of pebbles. Water is distributed in the ditches from perforated pipes (P). Water is evaporated through the beds of pebbles without odour. |
