The setting device (10) has a housing enclosing an electromagnetic armature, contained within a pressure sleeve (11) with a central thread (12) at one end for attachment to the control valve, provided by an armature sleeve (17) and a sensor sleeve (18) for an armature displacement sensor (15). The armature sleeve has an extension (36) at the sensor sleeve end, for acting as an electromagnetic screening for the sensor coil (32) around the outside of the reduced diameter sensor sleeve.
