The cellular structure consists of an outer skin (1) of a fibre composition material or metal, a cellular layer (3) e.g., of a honeycomb material or foam, and an inner lining skin (2). The outer skin and lining are connected by vibration damping layers (5) which can be made from supple elastomer layers (6) and metal strips (7), or from a resin material.
