A multi-deck power converter module assembly (10) for connection with a substrate (5) having connection regions disposed on its surface includes a second circuit board (14) positioned over a first circuit board (12), the second circuit board (14) having apertures extending through. At least two rail members (36) positioned over the second circuit board (14), each rail member (36) having a first (46) and a second (44) plurality of holes. A pair of spacers (26) are disposed between the first (12) and second (14) circuit boards, each spacer extending through one of the apertures (30) onthe second circuit board (14) and received within one of the first plurality of holes (46) of one of the rail members (36). Terminal pins (32) are attached to the first circuit board (12), at least one terminal pin (32) extending through the second circuit board (14) and a corresponding one of the second pluraluity of holes (44) for connection to one of the connection regions on the substrate (5).
