PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct the high speed detection of the information of a recording magnetic section and to obtain a large information reproducing signal in an information processor applying the technology of a scanning type magnetic force microscope, without being affected by the surface ruggedness of a magnetic recording medium. SOLUTION: The information reproducing method is constituted so as to reproduce the information by making a cantilever 101 approach to the magnetic recording medium 104 and vibrate with the frequency near the resonance frequency to detect the change of the vibration amplitude of the cantilever 101. In this case, the vibration frequency of the cantilever 101 is changed over by a vibration frequency changeover device 109, and the difference in the vibration amplitudes of the cantilever 101 before and after the changeover, is detected as the reproduced signal, then the information is reproduced.
