PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidifier wherein the range hit by air is wide, the amount of articles to be dried which can be dried at one time can be made larger, and also, the air blowing sound at the time of operation is small. SOLUTION: This dehumidifier is equipped with an external box for which an air inlet and an air outlet are formed, and a centrifugal air blower including a compressor, an evaporator, a condenser, a wringer, a spiral casing and an air blower, in the external casing, and at an upper location which deflects in the rotating direction from the rotating center 17 of the air blower 8 at the starting end of the spiral casing 12 of the centrifugal air blower, a tongue part 15 which expands in the direction to the rotating center 17, is provided. In addition, the final end of the spiral casing 12 is arranged at an upper location which deflects in the counter-rotating direction on the opposite side from the starting end, from the rotating center 17 of the air blower, and at the same time, on the internal location, a protruding part 16 which expands in the direction to the rotating center, is provided. |
