INTAGLIO FOR PRINTING AND MANUFACTURE OF COLOR FILTER USING INTAGLIO

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an innovative intaglio for printing which shows outstanding ink mold parting properties in a recessed part, which has an affinity to such an extent that the imperfect filling of ink does not occur as well as the method for manufacturing a color filter by which it is possible to manufacture a high- accuracy color filter causing no disorder in print form on account of the intaglio used. SOLUTION: This intaglio for printing has a protrusion which is 0.1-2μm high on the average formed on the inner face of a recessed part which is 2-10μm deep on the average. In addition, the intaglio has a silicone polymer mold parting layer which is 0.05μm or more in thickness and 1/2 or less the depth of the recessed part. The method for manufacturing a color filter is to form an ink layer on the surface of a transparent base using the intaglio by an intaglio offset printing method.
