<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a charge-discharge current of parasitic capacity of a capacitor of a charge pump by short-circuiting these wirings for clock signals with phases opposite to each other at the time of transition of rise and fall of clock signals with phase opposite to each other. SOLUTION: An equalizing signal CEQ is made a high level at the time of transition of rise/fall of clock signalsϕ,ϕB with phases opposite, to each other, transfer gates 3, 4 are turned off, a transfer gate 5 is turned on, wirings 1, 2 for clock signalsϕ, PQ&UB are short-circuited. Voltage applied to parasitic capacity CP, CPS connected to the wire 2 for clock signalϕB is made approximately Vcc /2. Therefore, half voltage of voltage to be boosted from OV to Vcc can be boosted without supplying a current from a power source Vcc . And a charge/discharge current of parasitic capacity CP, CPS is reduced to half of a conventional current.</p> |
