PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption at the time of standby by non-fixedly and non-cyclically intermittently receiving plural frequencies, weighting them, dividing them into plural groups, receiving the frequency of the group having large weight in a high probability and detecting connection request signals from a calling side at the time of the standby. SOLUTION: Relating to the slave unit 1 of a digital cordless telephone system for generating a prescribed carrier frequency in a radio part 6 and connecting a radio channel by a TDMA/TDD system with a master unit or the like, at the time of the standby, when the connection request signals are received in a communication control part 2 successively through an antenna 7, the reception part of the radio part 6 and a modem part 5, the slave unit 1 connects the radio channel with the master unit or the other slave unit 1 on the calling side through a prescribed procedure. In this case, the plural frequencies are non-fixedly and non-cyclically intermittently received and the plural frequencies are weighted and divided into the plural groups. Then, at the time of performing intermittent reception, by receiving the frequency of the group having the large weight in high probability, the connection request signals from the calling side are detected. |
