PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a receptacle connector, and to accurately set a position of receptacle terminal by arranging an upper wall part of a receptacle housing so as to be connected to a cam follower position on a plug contact, and having a line of the cam surface, which is extended in the direction for pushing down a contact till a conductive trace connecting position on the contact is connected to the conductive trace. SOLUTION: A front part 110 of a contact is provided with a top surface cam follower position 112, which can be pushed down, and a lower surface conductive trace connecting position 114, which is connected to a receptacle terminal formed by conductive trace of a circuit board. A rib 72 of an upper wall of a receptacle is formed with a cam surface 120 designed so as to contact a cam position, namely, a cam follower position of the contact when a plug contact is inserted. The rib 72 has a practically horizontal rear end surface 123, which contacts the cam follower position 112 after the contact is perfectly connected.
