PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily position an optical fiber and incident light, to increase optical coupling efficiency, and to eliminate the adverse influence of reflected light by forming the same plane of an end surface of the optical fiber and an end surface of a holder, making the plane perpendicular to the center axis of the end part of the optical fiber, and providing a light reflection preventing film. SOLUTION: The coating part 16 at the tip of the optical fiber 1 is removed to expose a photoconductor consisting of a core 5 and a clad 17. In the center of the holder 9, a through hole for the optical fiber 1 is formed and a fixing material 26 such as an adhesive is charged in its one entrance. When the optical fiber 1 is run through the holder 9, the fixing material 26 sticks on the surface of the through hole as well as the optical fiber 1 and sets to fix the optical fiber 1 to the holder 9. The tip of this optical fiber and the holder 9 are polished to form the same end surface of the optical 1 and holder 9 that the optical axis of the optical fiber 1 is perpendicular to. The light reflection preventive film 2 is provided on the end surface. The light reflection preventive film 2 prevents reflection from the optical fiber 1. |
