PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas discharge type display device, which is superior in insulation property, can maintain a discharge voltage with high stability for a long time, and is equipped with superior displaying quality, a long lifetime, and high reliability. SOLUTION: An inter-layer insulation layer 11 is formed on anode bus bar 4a, anode electrode 4b, and a resistance 9 which are arranged on a back board 3, and a lattice-shaped bulkhead 5 arranged as if to completely conceal a group of anode bus bars 4a from a bundle of cathode rays 2 is formed on the inter- layer insulation layer 11, and to its inner surface a phosphor 10 is applied, and this is positioned opposing through the bulkhead 5 to the front plate 1, where the bundle of cathode rays 2 are arranged. Thus the group of anode bus bars 4a is concealed completely by the bulkhead 5 on the inter-layer insulation layer from the bundle of cathode rays, and thereby the insulation of plasma or cathode from anode can be enhanced. |
