PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a lead wire from breaking when inserting the bulb holding part into the socket body even in case that the axis line of the bulb holding part is inclined to the axis line of the socket body. SOLUTION: The bulb holding part 2 supporting a bulb includes a column part 13 fitted to the cylindrical part of the socket body and a prism part 14 protruding in the same axis of the column part 13. The bulb holding part 2 includes small holes 11a, 11b projected out a pair of lead wires 16b (wire) of the bulb from the tip (One lead wire is not shown.). The recesses 20a, 20b are formed on the outer surface 14a, 14b where lead wire 16b is positioned each other in the prism part 14 to keep the each base end of the bent lead wire 16b. Accordingly when inserting the bulb holding part 2 into the socket body, the lead wire 16b is prevented from breaking by reducing the frictional resistance between the lead wire 16b and the inner surface of the socket body and the terminal, resulting from cushioning effect (ealstic recess deformation) of the thin part of the recess 20b. |
