PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain proper exposure regardless of the reflectance of an object without making the structure of a system complicated at a flash light control system. SOLUTION: Preliminary light emission is performed before the normal light emission of a flash 9, so that the luminance of the object during the preliminary light emission is measured by a second photometry part 10. The light quantity of the normal light emission of the flash 9 is decided by a microcomputer 2 based on the luminance of the object during the preliminary light emission measured thereby, and the distance of the object measured by a range-finding part 3. The flash 9 in made to emit light by the decided light quantity of the normal light emission, so that the object is auxiliarily illuminated. Thus, the proper exposure is obtained regardless of the level of the reflectance of the object. |
